Are You Acquainted with Portishead?

I’m referring to the band, not the city. Since it has been entirely too long since I’ve written a music-related post, I thought I would take a moment to spotlight a fantastic, off the radar group.  Portishead formed circa 1991 creating raw music with a trip hop/alternative vibe. Here is one of my all-time favorite songs by the band entitled “Glory Box” from their debut album Dummy.

Thoughts on this group? Leave a comment below. Thanks for reading.

About somethingtoconsiderblog

I love life. In this world there are so many dark, scary, & depressing things around us. I prefer to focus on the good and benevolent: spirituality, self-exploration and growth, a healthy lifestyle, learning, people, travel, food, music, and all things beautiful. We all have an impact on the world around us. Let’s make it an excellent one, and may it be contagious.
